This is Google at their ridiculous best. I live in Sussex on the English south coast. Yesterday, I asked where Inverewe Gardens was. To be told that it's in the Scottish Highlands, 700 miles north of here. Today, Google is asking, 'How did I enjoy my visit?'
Now I accept that it the USA a round trip of 1400 miles in a day might be possible but in the good old UK it most certainly is not.
So I've no idea what this place is like, and it would be wrong for me to judge.
Having said that, I hope to visit later in the summer as I'm sure it will be delightful.
Maybe it would be more helpful waiting for me to actually go there rather than ask for a review on the strength of getting directions.

This is a stunning botanical garden and all the more remarkable since it is so far North in Scotland, U.K. - thanks to the warming effect of the Gulf Stream (enjoy it while it lasts).
It reminded us of The Abbey Gardens in Tresco, The Isles of Scilly, England, about 1000km (600 miles) South - another superb destination.
Do visit both; they are among the very best of what to see in the U.K..

Astonishing and colorful variety of plants, trees and flowers, it was totally worth the detour.

Lovely to see autumn colours and find plants that I would consider planting in my garden. Easy to wander around but helpful map provided at entrance.
Only criticism is that not all plants were labelled so some detective work needed to identify them.

A beautifully-kept garden and fascinating too. Its lovely to see the range of plants that are grown in this Scottish Highlands estate. The Walled Garden is inspirational.

A return visit, the last time some 20 years ago now!!! Lovely gardens and the bonus of a boat trip seeing seals and in a creel, crabs and 2 scorpion fish.

It was a crisp and sunny day to visit this treasure of a heritage garden. So many unique species. The layout of the vegetable garden is inspiring ( borrowing these ideas). This is not to be missed. One of my highlights of the trip. Leave yourself enough time - every trail leads to something spectacular.

Lovely gardens, and interesting visit to the house. When you consider how far north you are it's amazing what can grow here.

Absolutely beautiful gardens. Allow plenty of time to see them. Would be lovely to see them in Spring/Summer but still enjoyed them in September.
